TAILENG is part of the organizing committee for the 7th International Conference on Tailings Management, Tailings 2021, to be held on September 1-3, 2021. See more details on :

TAILENG successfully offered its first course for the calendar year 2021 on the fundamentals of tailings engineering. The course had more than 70 participants, which included mine operators, consultants, and students. See course feedback here [link]

TAILENG participated in the 2020 Tailings Mine and Waste conference. TAILENG members were involved in the following papers:

  • TAILENG Mine Tailings Database.
  • Dynamic Effective Stress Analysis of a Centerline Tailings Dam-Case Study
  • Hydrologic Predictions of Water Content and Oxygen Concentration in a Geowaste Test Pile
  • All Hands on Deck!- A Semi Quantitative Attempt to Characterize the Impeding Quantified Tailings Professional Resource Shortage
